TINte Cosmetics Flavored Lip Shine

I’ev always been the type to want to wear red lipstick every single day- but unfortunately, it does tend to get a few stares at school (I actually heard two other students whispering to each other, ‘Oh, look, that’s the red lipstick girl!’) and isn’t exactly practical, wear-time-wise… I’m always on the lookout for a good red lipgloss, though, and that’s what led me to this- TINte’s Flavored Lip Shine in Mynt Kiss.TINte is a little known brand, with gorgeous, vintage-esque packaging- have any of you tried their Flavored Lip Colors (different from ‘shines’, oddly enough…)? They have what are possibly the most adorable tins ever, with curly type… but I digress. I recieved for Christmas one of their Shimmer and Shine boxes- in it was a loose powder, a tin of lip color and one of their Lip Shines (in Nikki Pink, Bubblegum and Mynt Kiss, respectively)!

This is an INSANELY pigmented bright blue toned red! Along with Rae’s swatches of Annabelle’s Bitten (just can’t get over how gorgeous that is…), this is probably the most pigmented gloss I’ve seen in a long time. You only need a tiny bit to get an incredibly bright color! It has a bit of shimmer, although it’s not massively noticeable once on your lips.

Sorry this is blurry, but it captures the shade really well!

It’s quite thick and sticky, though- I personally don’t mind too much; it really does make it very longlasting indeed, maybe three hours or so- so if you don’t like thick glosses, I’d skip if I were you!

*cue terrifying lip swatch*

One thing I lke to do with this is apply a thin layer, and then blot off with a tissue. It leaves a fairly red stain that lasts for hours and hours and looks beautiful!

There are ten shades, all with different flavors. Mynt Kiss smells and tastes like mint, obviously, although it’s not *hugely* strong. :) It’s really quite delicious!

I’d really recommend this if you like super pigmented glosses, that have excellent wear time- but if you tend to shy away from thicker, stickier glosses this might not be for you.

xxIvy

PS: I’m babysitting Jessamy, one of the kittens from over the summer- dont kiss cats with this. Just saying.

I noticed this, Ivy, it did last a long time and looked very pretty even through pretty intense snowball fight.
